A History of Families
Born in the 13th century as a fortified structure protecting the city of Siena, for about four centuries the ownership of the Castello di Celsa has been passed down through the female line: from the noble Sienese family of the De Vecchi, to the Florentine family of the Antinori, up to the Aldobrandini, of Rome.
